The Tools You Need to Heal
The healing process can be complex and multifaceted at the best of times, but often, the hardest part is getting started. We find that after an initial session, the people we work with feel more comfortable in their surroundings and return for their second session more open to what therapy can help them achieve.
If you’re feeling dubious about attending counseling sessions, or you feel like you won’t benefit from our services — all we ask is that you open your mind to trying.
Our Core Services:
Individual Therapy
Scheduling a one-on-one therapy session could be the best self-care decision you make for yourself all year. Focused on a strengths-based, systemic approach, you’ll work with your therapist to develop a plan to address your key concerns and triggers.
After an initial diagnostic assessment, sessions are usually scheduled weekly and last around 50 minutes each (though this can be adapted depending on your needs). Sessions can take place in our Lisle office, or, if you can’t make it to the office, we’re also happy to accommodate you remotely.
Whether it’s your first time visiting a therapist or you’re seeking out a new perspective, our warm, friendly, and compassionate approach is exactly what you need to feel safe discussing whatever is on your mind.
Couples Therapy
Experienced in marriage and relationship counseling, shared trauma, and life transitions — we help couples build a strategy to overcome whatever conflicts they face. Experienced in EFT, the Gottman Method, and other systemic approaches to understand the root of your issues, we’ll help you find the best way to deepen your relationship.
Typically, your first couples therapy session will consist of a diagnostic assessment. After this, there’ll be one or two individual sessions with each partner to get an understanding of your individual background and objectives for your sessions.
Once a treatment plan has been established, you can then move forward together with your therapist, with sessions arranged to match your schedule.
Child and Adolescent Counseling
With the permission of a guardian, we’re trained to accommodate the needs of both children and adolescents. From group sessions involving family members to individual one-on-one sessions, we help children and adolescents navigate challenges posed to them in their early lives.
From issues with bullying to addressing behavioral traits, we cover a wide range of topics that can be discussed both in-office and remotely. Because Heart and Soul Counseling Group is a completely safe and inclusive space, we also offer specialist services for those experiencing challenges associated with gender or identity within the LGBTQ+ community.
Whatever your or your child’s concerns may be, we have the training to help them through it.
Women's Wellness/Counseling
From processing infertility to overcoming the strain of menopause or hormonal disorders, we offer specialized services across a wide range of women’s wellness topics. Whether you’re hoping to address something in particular or there’s a wider range of emotions to unpack — we’re happy to support you in whatever journey you need us to be a part of..
We’re also trained in handling sensitive cases involving relationship trauma such as emotional or physical abuse. In these cases, and as always, your issues will be discussed in a safe, supportive, and discreet environment.

Online Telehealth Counseling
Can’t make it to our office? If you’re unable to access in-person sessions for personal, medical, or geographical reasons, we also offer online telehealth counseling.
Taking place via telephone or through the computer, we can tailor your treatment to match a schedule you’re comfortable with. For people living with others, we’ll always do our best to accommodate the days you have the most privacy in your home. Just mention any time restrictions you have in your booking form and we’ll see what we can do.

Hypnotherapy
We understand that seeing a hypnotherapist for the first time can be daunting. However, when given the opportunity, trained hypnotherapists can achieve remarkable results in a relatively short amount of time.
After an initial assessment to determine your suitability, we can offer hypnotherapy as a standalone service or combine it with other therapy sessions you’re receiving.

Reiki
Embracing the ancient energy healing technique of reiki, we aim to promote relaxation and re-energize your body and mind. With regular 1 hour reiki sessions, you can activate natural healing processes and restore your physical, emotional, and spiritual balance.
